The 7th episode of House has the aftershock and denial of last week’s kiss between House and Cuddy written all over it. The case this week though, is about an agoraphobic man who needs to be treated really badly but refuses to leave his home due to his condition. So the team devised a plan to pretend that they will do the surgery at his home and then move him to the hospital when he goes under. Unfortunately, Cameron’s flaw gets the better of her and the plan goes haywire. Wilson is his usual hilarious self, while we see the more human side of House come out in this episode as he battles with his feelings for Cuddy.

In the 10th episode of Prison Break called “The Legend,” Bellick’s death sends a backlash across the entire team and surprisingly they all valued him like a true friend. Michael’s sickness worsens and he is forced to go to the hospital with Sara as he collapses in between planning the mission. Mahone looks for the architect of Scylla and is helped by an unexpected ally while Agent Self has an ace up his sleeve that you never saw coming :-) Gretchen seems to be keeping her word too, so let’s see…

The episode is still so-so, as I expected it to dramatically pick up especially after the last one. The last four episodes are coming up in the next month and probably the last in this series too. Monta Ellis Tells All: I was Racing Baron and Elton

Humor, NBA, Sports No Comments »

For all the basketball fans who read this blog, I uncovered an article written by Buster Dunning of RealGM, where he interviewed the suspended and injured Monta Ellis of the Golden State Warriors as he finally talks about how he really got injured.

Months ago, Ellis’ 2008-2009 career went from promising to practically nothing, when he had a terrible moped accident that not only led to a severe injury, but also to a very lengthy suspension meted out by the Warriors. He first came out saying that he had injured himself badly playing pick-up games but in the end it was found out that it was because of him racing on a moped with some of his friends. Tsk tsk.

This is the entire interview done by Buster Dunning as he spoke to Monta Ellis about the entire incident. The article below is copied from the RealGM website, and should be read carefully. :-) Enjoy the article!

Separation Anxiety

I finally got my brand new Honda CRV exactly last week, November 1, and I’ve been driving it for a full week now :-) It’s a wedding gift from my fiancee’s parents but we got it way ahead of schedule, which is great, and we both decided to take turns by having the car with us for a week each. I must say, the experience of having my OWN car plus the fact that it drives great compared to any of the other cars I’ve been driving for half my life had me totally obsess over it, tsk tsk. And now that I’ve got my old car back for a full week, I think I’m already experiencing some separation anxiety, ha ha!

I exchanged cars with Kris (my fiancee) yesterday and had to drive my old worn out Toyota Exsior back home in horrid Friday night traffic. Not that it’s a bad car, it’s just so FAR from how easy and light it was to drive the CRV, not to mention how amazing an alabaster gray color looked on a full front dark tint. Mmmm. To tell you honestly I knew NOTHING about cars until this new CRV came along, so yeah, obsessed is definitely the word for it. To give you an example, since I started driving it, I’ve logged how many km’s it takes for me to get from one place to another, on every drive I took, as well as how much time it took in terms of minutes for each trip. He he. How sad! But that’s part of my learning process, so let the happy person be! That’s it! Just wanted to rave :-)

Prison Break Season 4 Episode 9: Greatness Achieved

TV No Comments »

Finally a really decent episode of Prison Break. In the 9th episode called “Greatness Achieved,” there are two more deaths and it seems we are getting closer to the final curtain call for this series. This is probably one of the more memorable episodes for many reasons, and you’ll have to watch it to find out!

Mahone FINALLY gets his hands on Wyatt and the sheer anger he has brings him to do the worse he can on the man who murdered his son. The way he did it is a joy to watch as Wyatt has made himself so hated. And it felt really good to see him on the other side of the coin for a change as the one being pounced on.

Another member of the team dies, but rather valiantly this time, to be able to save the mission and finally bring down the Company. Your guess is as good as mine as to who that person is. There are also two other instances to take a note of. One is how Michaels sickness has taken its toll on him, just like it did with his mother at the same age he’s in now. And Gretchen has finally met face to face with the General, who she apparently has a lot of history with. A rather, distasteful history I might add, and the conflict (jealousy) between the two girls in the General’s team (Gretchen and Lisa) seem to be a foreboding of the eventual cause of the Company’s downfall.
